- Beneficiary: This refers to the person you are sending money to.
2. Sending and Receiving Money
You can only send money to recipients located in countries where Payterse operates.
Payterse is not a bank and does not hold your funds. It acts as a processor to facilitate money transfers.
The Service strives to be available 24/7, but scheduled maintenance or unforeseen outages may occur.
Payterse may limit the amount of money you can send, both per transaction and over a certain period.
Payterse may delay a transaction for verification purposes. You will be notified of any such delay.
3. Fees and Charges
You will be informed of all applicable fees associated with sending money before you confirm the transaction. These fees may change.
The exchange rate used to convert your funds will also be displayed before confirmation. This rate is subject to market fluctuations.
The recipient may also incur fees for receiving the money.
4. User Information and Verification
You are responsible for ensuring all information you provide to Payterse is accurate and complete, including your own information, your payment method details, and the recipient's information.
Payterse may require you to verify your identity or the recipient's identity to comply with Nigerian regulations or prevent fraud.
Payterse may block a transaction if it cannot verify the recipient's identity or suspects fraudulent activity.
5. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Service for any illegal activity or any purpose that violates Payterse's Terms.
This includes, but is not limited to, gambling, money laundering, or terrorist financing.
The Service is for your personal use only and cannot be used for commercial purposes by others.
Payterse may request additional documentation to ensure compliance with these restrictions.
6. Right to Refuse Service
Payterse reserves the right to refuse to process a transaction for any reason, without providing a detailed explanation.
Reasons for refusal may include exceeding transaction limits, payment method issues, or suspected fraud.
7. Limitation of Liability
Payterse is not liable for delays or errors caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, such as power outages or incorrect information provided by you.
Payterse's liability for any damages arising from or related to the Service is limited to a specific amount (which can be found on the Payterse website). This includes a refund of your transaction amount and any fees.
The Service is provided "as is" and Payterse makes no warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding its functionality or performance.
8. Dispute Resolution and Termination
You have a designated timeframe (as outlined on the Payterse website) to report any transaction errors. Payterse will investigate and respond within a specified timeframe.
In the event of a dispute, you agree to resolve it through binding arbitration in accordance with Payterse's designated arbitration procedures. These procedures will be available on the Payterse website or application.
Payterse may terminate your access to the Service for any violation of these Terms.
9. Communication
You agree to receive electronic communications from Payterse, including emails and notifications.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
